Christmas Photo Shoot

So, Reese, Shelby, and I had a little photo shoot last week. I made matching tutu's for the girls. Reese was not in the mood to pose for pictures, but we were still able to get some cute stuff. Of course, I make it harder on myself by trying to do these things while I'm home alone - but anyway....

Christmas Cards are going out today. You'll have to wait to see which photos made the card...

Our Christmas Tree

Merry Christmas!! We finished decorating our tree last night! Since the majority of you will never see it, we're putting a ton of pictures up. There are also two pics of Reese all bundled up when we went to pick out our tree. We hate that we can't really share our house with our family and friends (being so far away), but at least we can share this way.

Catching the Blog Up...

Hello All! Just finished decorating our front entry for Xmas - Can't wait to do the tree. Decided while I was posting these pics I would catch the blog up on a few things I had left to post. We completed a landscape project a couple of months ago. Incredibly hard work!! There are a couple pics of ReeseeDo and Shelby hanging out... Enjoy


The first picture here is of a wreath that mom and I made for the town of Lake Arthur on behalf of Thrifty Way pharmacy (where she works). This was our first try at wreath making - not bad for newbies...




These pics are old - taken right after we finished. Things have filled in a bit. I worked my tail end off on this project. I put in an irrigation system, added I don't know how many yards of soil and mulch, and planted everything. We had to work with some of the existing plants and their placement, like the huge sago palm, because it was just to much work to move them around. FYI Houston Garden Center is where we got all the plants - after summer until Oct. or Nov. they have a 70% off sale. No Joke! The plants are still in excellent condition and some are even new arrivals!
